To say that Eric "Hutch" Hutchison knows hose is an understatement. Having spent 37 years as a firefighter, including 14 years as a battalion chief, he's certainly used to putting out fires.

While it's true that alcohol sales have gone up during this ongoing pandemic, so has the need for hand sanitizers. Long-time client O'Fallon Brewery was looking to help fill that need so they turned to Milpaws to develop adapters that could convert a portion of their beer line to producing hand sanitizers instead.

Long before Covid 19 extended its grip on America and throughout the world, causing businesses to shut down and families to self isolate at home, we were in the midst of planning a move to our new location at 6000 Manchester Avenue while still working to solve the fluid conveyance needs of our customers.

Many times, our customers will order a certain length of hose, knowing they'll need to trim the size before putting it into use. But the question is, "If you're going to mis-measure cutting a hose, what's the better problem to have: too long or too short?"
